ABOUT
An action, survival, rouge like, arcade video game in which the player takes control of an enchanted scarecrow charged with protecting a lonely wizards crops from the wicked animals who live in the woods. By pressing a combination of buttons, The scarecrow can use different spells which scare away the animals in order to protect the crops. The game is round based and by the end of each round the crops are sold for currency which the player can use in the spell shop featured between rounds. In the store, the player is faced with the decision of weather to use his currency to purchase more powerfull spells or to buy more crops which function as the health as well as the potential to gain more currency in future rounds.
DESIGN
For the visual development I took inspiration from several sources, mainly the Hellboy comic series, the cartoony styles of Maplestory and the Wizard with a Gun video games. I was in charge of the Art, Animation, UI UX Design and Game Design. The project was made in collaboration with the developers Aviv Goldstein and Yoav Kagan who were in charge of the coding and game design.
